This is a textured and evocative electronic piece that accompanies the immediate chaos that followed the February 22nd quake. Watching the images and hearing the descriptions, there is an almost surreal sense to it all – a suspended state of shock, of disbelief, and then realisation that everything was now profoundly different. The reverse sonic elements suggest an altered sense of the temporal... I imagine that time slowed down or was suspended for many of those who experienced this first hand.
